What is Kill'em All?

Kill'em All is an action thriller film that stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as Philip, a mysterious stranger who arrives at a local hospital on the brink of death after a massive shootout. He is taken care of by Suzanne (Autumn Reeser), a devoted nurse who becomes the sole surviving witness to the follow-up shootout. Soon, a foreign gang led by Radovan Brokovski (Daniel Bernhardt) comes to the hospital to hunt him down. Philip and Suzanne must face an FBI interrogation that unlocks a plot of international intrigue and revenge.

Plot summary

The film begins with a flashback to Philip's childhood in Albania, where he witnesses his parents being killed by Brokovski's men. He is then rescued by Dušan (Kris Van Damme), a fellow orphan who becomes his best friend. They grow up to become elite assassins working for Brokovski's organization.

In the present day, Philip and Dušan are sent to kill a CIA agent named Holman (Peter Stormare), who has been investigating Brokovski's illegal activities. However, they are betrayed by Brokovski, who sends his other men to kill them as well. Philip manages to escape with Holman's laptop, which contains vital information about Brokovski's network. He is chased by Brokovski's men until he reaches a hospital, where he collapses from his injuries.

At the hospital, he is treated by Suzanne, who notices his gunshot wounds and tattoos. She tries to contact the authorities, but Brokovski's men have already infiltrated the hospital and cut off the communication lines. They also kill most of the staff and patients, except for Suzanne and Philip.

Meanwhile, two FBI agents, Trenton (Paul Sampson) and Sanders (Maria Conchita Alonso), arrive at the hospital to investigate the situation. They find Suzanne and Philip hiding in a room, and interrogate them about what happened. Philip reveals his identity and his connection to Brokovski, and offers to cooperate with the FBI in exchange for protection. He also shows them Holman's laptop, which contains a list of Brokovski's targets, including a high-ranking politician named Senator Aldridge (John Posey).

However, before they can escape, Brokovski and his men storm the hospital and surround them. They demand that Philip surrenders himself and the laptop, or they will kill everyone. Philip decides to fight back, and convinces Suzanne and the FBI agents to join him. They manage to fend off Brokovski's men, and make their way to the rooftop, where a helicopter is waiting for them.

On the rooftop, they are confronted by Brokovski himself, who holds Suzanne hostage. He reveals that he was behind the murder of Philip's parents, and that he wants to kill him as well. He also reveals that he has planted a bomb in the hospital, which will detonate in a few minutes. He then shoots Philip in the chest, and prepares to escape with the laptop.

However, Philip is not dead, as he was wearing a bulletproof vest. He gets up and fights Brokovski hand-to-hand, while Suzanne frees herself and helps the FBI agents secure the laptop. Philip manages to overpower Brokovski, and throws him off the rooftop. He then grabs Suzanne and jumps onto the helicopter, just as the bomb explodes and destroys the hospital.

The film ends with Philip and Suzanne kissing in the helicopter, while Trenton and Sanders congratulate them on their victory. They also inform them that Senator Aldridge has been saved from Brokovski's assassination attempt, and that Holman's laptop has provided enough evidence to bring down Brokovski's organization. Philip thanks them for their help, and says that he is ready to start a new life with Suzanne.
